Displays and field of view
Triple angles, ultrawide versus triples, and pixels per degree.
- Triple Screen FOV and AngleSide monitors that are folded by guesswork either show a seam or waste the side panels on the A-pillar. The angle here keeps the centre of each side screen on the same radius as the centre screen.
- Ultrawide vs Triple ScreenA 49-inch super ultrawide and three 32-inch panels are not the same purchase. One number is pixels across, another is how wide the glass is, and a third is the field of view once the triples are folded.
- VR Pixels per DegreePanel resolution without the field of view does not say whether the picture is sharp. Pixels per degree is the horizontal count divided by the horizontal FOV, and the same idea vertically.
